Capital Campaign - A New Church for Mercy Parish!

From before the first Mass was celebrated until today, Most Merciful Jesus Parish has been a giving Parish. Parishioners have given many prayers, countless hours of volunteer time, and generous donations that have built our current facility and kept our Parish life thriving. With this wonderful history behind us, we enter an exciting new chapter – the construction of our new Mercy Parish Campus!
What are we building now?
Our initial phase includes all sitework and construction of the main level of our two-level design, which includes the church and chapel. Cost for this building is estimated at $20 million.
We need to raise half the amount of this $20 million to qualify for a matching loan from the Diocese.
Our goal is to raise $7.5 million in 3 years to combine with the $2.7 million we currently have in the construction fund to reach our required $10 million. We look forward to celebrating our first Mass in the new church!
Raising an additional $1.5 million would allow us to build out the lower level of the church for classrooms, meeting rooms, and a youth facility as well. We hope to construct the columbarium with the initial phase, funded through presales.
In September 2025, Father Joy kicked off our Capital Campaign Pledge drive. Below is a link to his presentation and the Q&A that followed. The first 19 minutes provide a history leading up to our pledge drive. The balance of the video is the Q&A session.
