Sacristan Meeting & Potluck

Have You made a New Year’s Resolution to Join a Mercy Ministry? A Sacristan is responsible for setting up the Sanctuary (Altar, Credence Table, etc.) in preparing the vessels and other items used for the celebration of the Mass. Some ministry members who feel called to wash and iron the linens used for Mass are part of the Altar Linen Society. Both branches of this important ministry work are performed in serving our Lord and parish by preparing for a Mass and for caring for items used afterwards. Any Confirmed Catholic interested in learning more about becoming a Sacristan and/or Altar Linen Society member, please contact sacristan@mercyparish.church and join us January 24th at 6:15 pm for our meeting and potluck.
