Let’s Reach Our Goal of 300 pledges Together – The Capital Campaign Pledge Drive is Coming to an End

We are making substantial progress towards our goal of 300 pledges. We thank the 205 folks that have stepped up already and made a pledge and everyone that is giving to the campaign. If you have not yet made a pledge, you can still make a difference by simply filling out a pledge card. Any amount helps us. Let us clarify something: If you are already giving to the capital campaign, we would like you to fill out a non-binding pledge card. Why? This puts us in a much better light with the diocese and shows that Mercy parishioners want the new church and are willing to help pay for it. Why is this

important? The diocese will require us to have pledges in hand to demonstrate we can pay back the loan and demonstrate we have support from the parish.

In September, when we kicked the campaign off, Father Joy led a meeting which provided a history of the parish up to our Capital Campaign Pledge Drive. The end of November will formally end the pledge drive. We know our Parish Family will step up and help us make this goal as a key step on our journey towards our new Church building.
